The aerial view of Linshui Sports Center immediately shows that the running track is not working alone. Courts, a football field and circulation routes sit within one compact sports campus. Different activities happen side by side, and each surface has its own colour, markings and maintenance needs.
Huadong Track lists Linshui Sports Center as a 2022 showcase project. The image confirms the overall site arrangement and the red running-track surface, but the public project card does not state a specific product model or thickness. The most valuable story here is therefore how a track fits into a multi-sport site.

Connections receive constant traffic
Athletes, students, staff and maintenance equipment all move between activity zones. The points where paths cross the track or meet its edge can receive more concentrated wear than the middle of a lane. Their dimensions, levels and protective details should be reviewed before installation begins.
Clear colours reduce confusion
The aerial image shows red, green and blue surfaces used to distinguish activities. This makes a busy site easier to read, but colour selection must also consider line contrast and future repairs. A replacement patch that is technically sound but visibly mismatched can affect the appearance of the entire facility.
Three Checks Before Material Arrives
The project team should verify lane geometry, kerbs, drainage channels and transition points against the approved drawings. Small dimensional differences are easier to solve before roll widths and joint positions are fixed.
Map the base condition
A simple base-condition map can identify repaired areas, moisture concerns and local flatness corrections. It also helps installers decide where to start and how to sequence the work without trapping themselves at an access point.
Plan storage and movement
Prefabricated rolls need a clean, protected holding area. On a compact sports campus, storage cannot block court access, drainage or other contractors. The path from storage to the installation zone should be agreed in advance.

Prefabricated track installation is built around repeated controlled actions: place, align, bond, close the joint and inspect. The system reduces some variables associated with forming the main surface structure on site, but it makes planning and workmanship visible.
On a site like Linshui, work areas also need protection from traffic generated by neighbouring courts and field activities. A newly bonded section should not become a convenient shortcut for workers or equipment.

Huadong Track offers several prefabricated rubber running-track systems. Selection should be based on the facility's actual use, governing standard, climate, base and operating plan—not on colour or project similarity alone. Since the Linshui project card does not publish a model, this article does not assign one.
For another multi-sport center, the specification should explain how the track relates to adjacent courts and access routes. It should also define acceptance checks, repair materials and the information the operator will receive at handover.

After Opening: Manage the Whole Campus
Maintenance should follow the movement pattern of the entire site. Dirt may enter from paths, court surfacing may create debris, and temporary activities may bring equipment across the track. Regular inspection of crossings, edges, joints and drainage points is more useful than waiting for a full-surface problem to appear.
The Linshui layout is a reminder that the track belongs to a system of spaces. Its long-term performance depends partly on how the rest of that system is operated.
1.Can one surface specification be used across every area of a multi-sport center?
Usually not. Running tracks, ball courts, walkways and field-access zones have different performance and maintenance requirements, even when their colours are coordinated.
2.Why should joint positions be planned before installation?
Joint planning helps control alignment, appearance and work sequence. It is especially important around curves, drainage details and access crossings.
3.Which running-track model was used at Linshui Sports Center?
The publicly available project card does not identify the model. The correct reference would be the project's specification or supply record.
